Player 3 — Norman Hunter
NORMAN “BITES YER LEGS” HUNTER
The Gateshead born Hunter joined Leeds United from school at the tender age of 15. In his early years he was skinny and gaunt, inadequate even — a mere shadow of what he was to become. Indoctrinated into Don Revie’s tried and tested regime he was fed on daily rations of raw eggs and sherry. The end product — one of Europe’s most feared centre-halfs. During the 1972 FA Cup final the Leeds fans unfurled a banner which read ‘Norman Bites Yer Legs’, needless to say the nickname stuck.
Hunter was a formidable defender who had one mission — to take them down — and that he did it. He was so good at his job that he amassed an impressive 726 appearances over a 14 year period — a feat for which he was duly rewarded, scooping up a FA Cup winners medal in 1972 and two First Division League wins. Talking of the famous banner he said “I thought nothing of it..was at a time when you virtually had to commit murder to get sent off”. Legend. 28 England caps.

Featuring a rich blend path and additional ‘side’ blends there should be enough to keep the players busy and to keep you out of trouble!
The Enforcers is a limited set of collectible NFT’s celebrating some of football’s legendary hardmen. Start with the base player card and blend them with ‘attribute cards’ to create bruised and battered versions of themselves which ultimately leads them to an overnight stay at Her Majesty’s pleasure! That’s right, locked up in a cell for the night! There are 6 base players Frank Barson, Willie Woodburn, Norman Hunter, Ron “Chopper” Harris, Wilf Copping and Tommy Smith, each with their own biography on the B side.
